A Free Community Engagement Event
The Empowering YOUth Family Festival is an annual community event in which vendors in the valley are brought together to provide resources to families in an enjoyable and engaging manner.
Families can participate in a day of free activities and demonstrations:
- Learn how to perform CPR
- Pick out healthy produce at the Farmer's Market
- Rock Painting activity
- Variety of health agencies
- Outdoor games
Engage in healthy and interactive activities where kids learn about health and wellness.

Free GO GREEN BMX Show, Hillview and Joe Walker Cheer Squads, Karate Demonstrations by Quartz Hill Karate, Kid's Farmer's Market, Vaccine Clinic, Outdoor Games by City of Palmdale Parks & Recreation. Raffle Prizes and Much More!

Vaccines required for school entry will be available at the Bartz-Altadonna mobile vaccine unit. Children may be eligible for free immunization if specific qualifications are met. Patients covered by health insurance that pays for vaccines do not qualify for immunizations through this Program.
Vaccines include: DPT, Polio, Hep B, MMR and Varicella(Chickenpox)
