Leona Valley Elementary

Leona Valley School is a small rural school that is more like an educational family. The staff consists of 4 highly qualified teachers, classified support staff, and 2 co-principals working together with parents to provide a positive nurturing learning environment for students in grades kindergarten through sixth grade. Our greatest initiative is to provide the leadership that will facilitate a school environment to provide differentiated instruction to meet the needs of each student to the best of our ability. The educational program must be academically challenging, engage each student by linking the curriculum to previous knowledge and experience, and also be exciting to promote further exploration of new ideas. Parents, teachers, support staff, and administration all have an important role to encourage our students to become active learners. It is our sincere desire to provide expanded opportunities for our students to acquire the skills to become productive citizens in a vastly changing society. At Leona Valley School we pride ourselves in being able to maintain quality home-school communication. Working as a team we are able to deliver quality Common Core State standards based instruction to students according to their individual needs.
